Bitcoin "investing" or speculation generally requires transferring money into risky & unfamiliar places or overpriced investment products. Meanwhile, bitcoin "marketing" or publicizing has generally been limited to word-of-mouth & the media.
If new bitcoin-related investment products are released, crypto asset-investing will become available to traditional investors via the traditional distribution (and commission-paying) channels. This alone would increase demand, if only due to the addition of professional marketing of the crypto "asset class".
